Kids Martial Arts
NKS teaches a character building martial arts program with age appropriate and specific self-defense skills. Our goals are a strong and healthy body, a calm and focused mind, academic excellence, respect and patience, martial arts mastery and the ability to stand up for ourselves. At least two or more instructors teach kids martial arts classes, providing a low student-to-teacher ratio.
Our Curriculum
Maintaining a disciplined and focused environment while making it fun and educational is our forte. Our classes emphasize self-discipline, preparedness, self-confidence, and perseverance.
Class Structure
Because NKS has a large instructor staff, we have a low student to instructor ratio. Three or more instructors run our classes with decades of experience. They prepare their kids martial arts classes in advance to keep them organized, fun, and high energy.
Our classes are safe and fun with a consistent schedule. We offer two kids classes per day, Monday-Friday, 4:30-5:15 PM and 5:30-6:15 PM. Saturday class is 10:30 AM.
Our Instructors
Many of our instructors have taught since the 1970s and 1980s. Their experience is important to teaching students of all ages. They can easily adapt the curriculum to the students and keep their attention to teach in ways they can understand.
They are patient with the students, understanding them as individuals with different needs, and they guide them along with realistic expectations, motivating them to do their best.
